In Fredville! or If It's Free—It's For Thee!

Today has been a great day, because after I did my outdoor morning chores, I officially took the day off and went to Fredericksburg, 44 miles away, to meet my sister Cindy for lunch, at Wheeler's and to do a little shopping.

Our lunch at Wheelers was totally delicious and it was filled with too much laughter, to say the least, but unfortunately, I didn't get to see my good friends Randy & Lisa, the owners of my two favorite restaurants, in the Texas Hill Country: The Save Inn, in Kerrville and Wheelers, in Fredville.

Even though my sister and I shopped at seven different clothing stores, on Main Street, Cindy didn't find what she was hoping to find, but I did, at Marilyn's. I bought myself a beautiful, hand embroidered, cotton peasant shirt, that was made in Mexico and when I got home and put it on—Tone loved it— which is really good, because he would faint if he knew how much I paid for it.

And that is about it for tonight, because I need to clean up the trailer, I mean, The Cabin, because Ben Welch is coming out tomorrow to work for us, for a few days.

But before I say, "Y'all have a great evening!" Which I honestly do mean, there is just one more thing I must do. I have just received an exciting e-mail announcement from Marilyn Anderson, co-author of the newly released e-book Muttweiler: An AutoDOGography, that Kinky, Tony, our rescue ranch and I are in. And because I love Boomer, Marilyn and Dennis and their e-book so much and want to help them anyway that I can to get the word out about their free download offer on Amazon, I figure if it's free—it's for thee. Here is the announcement she sent to me:
