Anyway, it is much more livable now, thanks to Tony, for helping me hang up some pictures and move things around and put things where they might permanently belong. But that will all be decided after we get everything, out on the front porch, unpacked and moved inside The Cabin.
I am thrilled with the results so far, because I know that I won't wake up, in the middle of the night and trip or fall or stump my toe, trying to find my way to our bathroom.
Here is a little peak at what we got accomplished today, in the bedroom. And please know there is still much to do like move and unpack the crate, in the chair, beside the bookcase and move the other chair out of the room, that my beloved, boxed, solar Eternal Squirrel is sitting on before we move it outside.
So please cut me some slack on how it looks right now, because I am hoping, that by the end of this week, we will have everything put in its place (where we can find it) and it will start to feel like home.
Y'all have a great evening and keep on laughing!

Pretty much perfect for you two - Much Love on this Pre Valentines Day. I hope you have Tony take you some where special for Valentines Day to celebrate Love but also the awesome job you have done on your Cabin together. Y'alls bedroom is so darn cozy and cute. The head and foot board may I ask what wood is it made from ? It is beautiful .
Hi Anon! Thank you for the compliments. When we married, in 1999, Tony made our bed out of cedar and I still love it and Tony.
Hi Nancy! Your place is so cozy, just beautiful. So happy for you and Tony and your new home. It is lovely. Happy Valentine's Day and day early...ChiNancy
Hi Nancy! Happy Valentine's Day to you and Theodora, a day early too.
Nancy, it's all GORGEOUS and so YOU! You're realizing your 'log cabin home' dream and it has to be EXTRA-special since you and Tony have done the work yourselves to "make it so". I sure hope to get a 'tour' some day. (And since I'm a fellow dog person, please don't feel you have to get Hazel out to vacuum any straying dog hairs when I come. Straying dog hair happens - believe me, I know.)
I'll be checking your blog all day today to see your announcement. The suspense is killing me - should I be all a-twitter or tied up in knots?
May you and Tony have a wonderful Valentine's Day with a great celebration of your lives together and what you've accomplished!
Hi Mari! You are so sweet and thank you for your kind words. We would love for you to come visit us as soon as we get settled in.
Funny that you mention Hazel, because last month she died sort of. Her big hose broke into several pieces, because of heavy use. But the good news is I ordered a replacement hose, from Dyson. So by the time you come and see us Hazel will be doing her thing again and hanging out, in the closet that we built a few weeks ago.
I cannot wait for you to come see us!
