You're Kidding Me!

Today has been great and I have an exciting announcement to make, "As of three days ago I am writing my first Kindle Vella and the title is You're Kidding Me. If you would like to check it out please just click on the title or you can click on it over on the sidebar. Or just Click Here.

I have only written two, 600 word episodes so far and I am having a blast writing it. It starts out with me being in New York City to sign some book contracts and I get mugged by a person shorter than me. And that is the only clue that I am giving you.

This is the artwork I chose for my Kindle Vella—You're Kidding Me and it is perfect, because there will be some ghosts and aliens in the ongoing, cliffhanger episodes.

And this is what I wrote "About The Author" and I have already lied about my age:

Cousin Nancy is a sixty-nine-year-old, cowgirl that loves animals more than she loves people, except for her husband Tony Simons. He spends most of his time photographing nature and gardening. Cousin Nancy spends her time writing, helping animals, hunting ghosts and waiting for aliens to arrive, while listening to her favorite music from the 60's and 70's. Her favorite musician is Neil Young and his album Harvest Moon debuted when she was a part-time hippie living in Crested Butte, Colorado.

And as a teaser—here is a little peek inside (Just the first three paragraphs) of Episode 1...

"Well, today has totally sucked," I confessed to my best friend Judy, over the phone, as I poured myself a second glass of cheap, boxed red wine.

"Now Nance settle down," Judy said, cheerfully. "It's your first day in New York City and you've only been there since this morning. It can't be all that bad."

"Well, it is," I said, as I locked my hotel door and then fastened the flimsy, silver, linked chain that was "Added For Your Extra Security." Then I swallowed a sip of wine, took a deep breath and held it for over ten-seconds, and then as I exhaled I said, "Trust me. Today has been worse than bad and I cannot wait to check out of this hotel tomorrow and get back to Texas where I belong. I'm missing Tony and our animals..."

I hope that y'all will wish me luck with my new writing endeavor and if you do like my Kindle Vella please check the box if you want to follow me and giving me a thumbs up would be nice also.

And please note: I will still be doing monthly podcasts.

Y'all have a great day and keep on laughing!

Only Doughbermans Allowed! or The Proof Is Out There!

I have been extremely busy working on my new website and trying to learn everything I can about podcasting and I am still learning more about podcasting everyday. And that is my excuse for not blogging much.

My dear friend Mari sent me these today and I want to share them, because I am still laughing. The first one is titled Only Doughbermans Allowed and the cartoon needs no explanation.

Not to brag, but last Saturday Kinky called me around 5:30 about this couple dropping off two dogs that they had just rescued, at his ranch and he and his sister Marcie asked for Tony's and my help. It is a long story and I promise to write about it tomorrow.

I would write about what's been going on tonight, but tonight I will be staring at my computer watching this exclusive History Channel Event on Zoom along with all of our friends/members in our AACC (Ancient Aliens Coffee Club).

Bob's Brother!

I've had a rough week, because I am sick. Not physically sick, but sick and tired of what is happening to our Planet. I am sick of Covid, isolation, hate, greed, war, wearing masks, being bored, social distancing and politics in general, etc.

It is so sad that most Republicans and Democrats now literally hate each other and anyone else who do not agree with them—while they go to church and declare themselves Christians? Because I truly doubt that God would approve of this kind of behavior, because God is LOVE. And I am also pretty sure that He isn't partial to race, countries, sports teams, Democrats or Republicans, etc.

I have now also given up watching the news, because who knows for sure what is real news and fake news anymore. Because after watching the awesome documentary Social Dilemma and discovering that social media gathers our information about us and forms algorithms that only feeds us information that goes along with our beliefs, opinions, etc. And even our favorite weathermen sometime lie to us about the weather. So who knows who or what to believe? The sky is falling or is it?

Okay, I've said it and I am now stepping down from my soap box and am finished complaining for now. And I apologize for venting, but I needed to get this off of my chest.

I am now fixing to solve a few more jigsaw puzzles, but before I go I do hope to make you laugh or at least put a smile on your face.

My sweet friend Eileen sent me this cartoon this morning and I think it is perfect for this post. And I am assuming that Bert is Bob's brother.

Y'all have a great Sunday and keep on laughing!

Fulll Moon?

Today, Ben sent me an e-mail! As of 3:06 today—Mercury is officially out of retrograde! My birthday is not going to be in retrograde after all! I was so happy when I read Ben's note! Unfortunately, we are still under the full moon. Last night, Tony took some shots of the moon and they are incredible! His pictures don't look like the moon at all! His pictures look more like alien sightings! Check them out—they are awesome! This is the order that he shot them in within two minutes!

My other great news is that Trisha, over at Copies Plus, sent me an e-mail this evening, telling me the calendars have been shipped, and we both are crossing our eyes and fingers—that they will arrive tomorrow! I can't wait to show them to Kink!
