Dear Cousin Nancy, Tony, Kinky, Arron and Ben
We are now at our new home with our new mom. I think she likes us! A lot! We had treats when we got here and she has a really neat sofa that we get to sleep on. We don't know where she goes at night. She disappears somewhere in the back and we haven't been brave enough to follow her back there yet. But one of these days, we will!
We were afraid she might not keep us though. She took our leashes off when we were in the truck and when we stopped and she got us out, we both went crazy checking everything out. We ran all over the place and wouldn't let her catch us. A neighbor came over and said we were really cute. The neighbor has a dog just like us, but we haven't met him yet.
We got a BATH too! I look really pretty all clean and white. Max looks the same but he sure smells better!
She also has a CAT! I barked at her and she ran. Max whined. He's such a baby! We haven't made friends yet, but I think we will.
Our new mom sits on the sofa with us and we have a "love fest". We are being really good because we like the "love fests" and being hugged so much.
Thank you for taking care of us while we were at the ranch and finding us a new home.

PS: We're not crazy about these stair things though! Our legs are so short we have a hard time going up and down, but we're learning!

Well, we've only been here two days and already have Mom wrapped around our tails! She's such a pushover!
We go outside to do our business several times a day and that's really cool! Man, there are so many neat smells and stuff! I like to walk close to Mom, but Max likes to run way to the end of his leash, smelling everything and making sure he leaves his mark everywhere.
We took a really long walk yesterday and met Millie. She looks kinda like Max, but is fat!
She growled at us! She thinks she's the queen of the neighborhood, but we'll set her straight once we have been here a bit longer.
We see that cat thing every once and a while; she stalks us! BAD KITTY!
Last night we discovered the BED!
YIPEE! We went to sleep on the sofa, but Max woke up in the middle of the night and stared whining. He's such a baby! Mom came in to comfort us and Max quit crying, but every time she left, he cried louder. After about 3 times, she took us with her. Oh, man, that bed is really neat!
We play fetch and I'm really good at it. I always get hugs and kisses when I bring the toy back. Max ain't so good! He won't even really try. I think it's because when I am fetching, he is getting hugs! And he sure doesn't want me to get more hugs than him! I have been perfecting my attention getting skills so I can make sure he doesn't get more hugs than me. It's workin!
We can't wait until it's warmer so we can stay outside and explore longer. Mom's a real wimp when it's cold, so we don't stay out very long.
After our walks, we settle down for a nap on that a big, soft sofa.
Max goes right to sleep, but I like to watch that TV thing until I can't keep my eyes open anymore.
Yep, been here two days and we got it made!!!!
