Six Fours! or The Blue Couch!

Today has been great. Around 11:30, after we had dropped off Big Foot and Grandma, at Hoegemeyer Animal Clinic, to get their first puppy shots, Tony and I met six of our good friends/volunteers for lunch, at the Thai Ocha restaurant. Eileen was the first to arrive, we were second, Lisa was third, Kris & Jim were fourth and June and Ellen were the very last to arrive, but no one was late.

Before we gave Ju our orders I showed off Little Debbie's cute, tiny, pink, wannabe UGGS that she will be wearing, I hope, when she stars in our upcoming "Longmire—Texas Style" skit/video that Eileen, Lisa and I co-wrote, in hopes that the Longmire cast and crew will invite all of us to be on location with them, when they film a new Longmire: Season 5 episode.

When our friend, Ju, came to take our orders she first teased Tony and me about always ordering their #4. Then Tony and I ordered the exact same thing—two #4's. Then to my amazement four others, at our table, ordered the #4, too. "Good grief," I said. "That's six fours! I wish Kinky was here to see this, because it mildly irritates him that we always order the #4 and won't ever try something else."

Of course, while eating our delicious lunch, we did a lot of laughing. In fact, we were the loudest table, in the restaurant. And before we adios-ed everyone, in the parking lot, Eileen and Tony transferred several large sacks of free dog food, from her truck to Trigger. "Thank you so much, Eileen!"

Then we took off to go pick up the puppies, before the clinic closed early for New Year's Eve. Our next stop was at Home Depot, to purchase a chainsaw. I stayed in the truck with the puppies while Tony went into the store.

After twenty-five minutes passed by I started to worry about Tony, because it doesn't take that long to buy a chainsaw. And five minutes later, I saw Tony approaching Trigger with empty hands. When he got back inside the truck he told me, "Sorry, it took me so long. Their computer showed that they had five chainsaws, in the store and three very nice employees did their best to locate them, but they couldn't find them..."

Late this afternoon Ellen, June & Kevin and James came out to pick up the blue couch that folds out to be a bed, that used to be inside my cabin, before Aaron, Tony and I built the twin bed frame. And while the men loaded the heavy couch into the back of their truck, I took June and Ellen to my cabin to show off the new bed, etc. and they loved it, too.

Tony and I followed our friends over to their Shoestring Ranch, so Tony could help the men unload the super heavy couch. After the men carried in the blue couch and sat it down, June gave me a private tour of their adorable, soon to be, bed & breakfast cabin that she and Ellen have been renovating. And I loved it, too.

When we were fixin' to leave, we wished everyone a happy new year, then I joked, "How sad. Helping move the couch over here is the highlight of our New Year's Eve partying. We can tell everyone that we went out on New Year's Eve, because it is after 5:00. And we can just leave out the part that we helped move a blue couch."

When we got back home, Carlton was flashing, on the breakfast bar to let me know that Kinky had called. So, I picked up the receiver and punched in his number. "Hi Kink. What's going on?" Then I heard Kinky laugh.

"Y'all had six fours! That's absolutely hilarious."

"How do you know about that?"

"Dylan and I ate there today about an hour after y'all left and they told us about it. You and Tony really need to try something else on their menu, because it is all delicious food..."

The puppies are sleeping right now and here is another picture I just took of them.

And that is about it for our exciting New Year's Eve celebration.

Y'all have a great evening! And have the best New Year ever!

Sweet Swat!

Today and the past few days have been great. I've been a little stressed out lately, so when that happens to me I get busy and build something like a bed for my cabin or decorate it to take my mind off of things. And that is why I have not been blogging so much.

Anyway, I am much better now, since Tony and I went to Kerrville this afternoon to run a few errands. After I purchased stamps and mailed several letters, at the Post Office Sub-Station, I had Tony drop me off at Home Town Craft store, before he went over to Wild Birds Unlimited. "I won't be long and I will walk across the parking lot to Wild Birds Unlimited, because I need the exercise."

I had a blast looking around the craft store. I ended up buying some Sharpies, Crayon Markers, an adorable pig, a Sweet Swat, a pink, telescoping, fly swatter and a red hurricane LED lantern. I was thrilled with all of my purchases especially the red lantern, because it runs on two D cell batteries and it has a dimmer switch where I can adjust the light from low glow to super bright. And the lantern only cost me $12.99!

As I hoofed it, across the shopping center's parking lot, to one of our favorite stores, in Kerrville, I spotted Marguerite's van parked outside Wild Birds Unlimited where she works, so I picked up my pace, because I could not wait to show her my new purchases.

When I walked inside the store Tony, Linda, Tricia and Marguerite greeted me. "Nance," Tony said. "Look at all of the great stuff they have on sale. You need to check it out." So, as I visited and laughed with Marguerite and Tricia my eyes fell upon the most adorable bunny puppet. And it was half off!

"I've got to get this!" I said, as I picked up the cute puppet and held it in my arms. When I went to the checkout counter, Tony already had his bird seed stuff nicely arranged, on the counter, next to their homemade cookies, which I was really tempted to eat, but I didn't because I had eaten a big lunch.

On our way to the big H-E-B, Tony chuckled, and said, "I bet we run into Jim, The Mineral Man. Do you want to make a bet?"

"Okay, I'll bet that he won't be there, but I hope he is...."

"While we are shopping at H-E-B let's get the puppies some more toys to play with." And we did and Tony lost his bet with me about seeing our dear friend Jim.

When we got back home we fed the puppies and then unpacked our groceries and put them up. Then I asked Tony to please put the batteries inside my red lantern. But before he did, I took pictures of the toys and all of my purchases.

The picture below shows the Sweet Swat fully extended.

As soon as Tony dropped the two batteries into the lantern, I put all of stuff into a sack, then said, "I'm going out to my writing cabin to decorate some more. And here are some pictures of my newly decorated cabin. And please note how cute the red lantern hanging above the twin bed that has three faux drawers, that Aaron and Tony helped me build and we have not yet, run water to the sink or put in the faucets.

Where the pink table is located in the above picture, I am soon going to put in a real wood-burning stove with Aaron's and Tony's help.

And from my antique writing desk I will be able to see the wood-burning stove while I'm writing!

When I returned to The Cabin, the puppies had been playing with their new toys and then they curled up and went to sleep.

And that's about it for this evening, because I plan to go watch the movie St. Vincent and then watch The 38th Annual Kennedy Center Honors, which I never miss.

Y'all have a great evening!

Love's!

Merry Christmas! Our Christmas has been more than great. This morning when I climbed out of bed Tony and Rick were already in the kitchen drinking coffee. Tony had already fed our house dogs and the two adorable puppy Pyrs.

While I drank a cup of coffee with them Tony told me some great news, "Garnet called earlier. Her cousin wants to adopt Ginger from us!...You need to call her back." After the exciting news about Ginger getting adopted, we started making plans for our rescued dog's Christmas dinner. Then we went into action.

First off, Tony removed the puppy pen from the big room and put it into Outer Space and then Big Foot and Sassy went into Outer Space for their very first time. And the good news is they liked it.

Then Tony brought all of the food in for the rescued dog's holiday dinner and we started warming their dinner rolls, in the oven.

While the dinner rolls were browning, I filled up a big pot with mixed vegetables and then we poured the rest of the vegetables into a baking pan and put it into the oven to heat up the vegetables.

Then I took these pictures:

Then we started filling up the food buckets with dressing, olive oil, cheese, garlic and eggs, because in no time flat Kris & Jim would be arriving to help us.

When Kris & Jim arrived they brought us some delicious Lofthouse Snickerdoodles to enjoy and after we thanked them Kris, Jim and I went into Outer Space to check on the cute puppies. And a few minutes later after Tony had mixed in the cooked vegetables and ground turkey, he came outside to announce, "The food is ready to serve. Let's go feed the dogs!"

It was a lot of fun feeding the dogs their annual Christmas dinner. While Kris & Jim took turns feeding the warmed dinner rolls I visited with them while Tony fed the anxiously awaiting dogs. And the good news is every dog licked his/her bowl clean.

Then all of us came back up to The Cabin for a really fun visit, while we ate up the rest of the delicious Snickerdoodles. And please note that not a crumb was left.

This afternoon, after a few back and forth telephone tags, I reached Garnet, so we could work out the logistics for Ginger's adoption. We decided it was best for Tony to drive Ginger to Luling, which is about halfway from Livingston, Texas, so he could safely deliver Ginger to her sweet cousin. Then we put Sandy, Garnet's sweet husband and Tony on the phone, so they could work out the details of where to meet, in Luling.

They decided to meet, at the Love's truck stop, on the east side of Luling, around 9:30 tomorrow morning, while I stay home and do the morning chores outside. Tony is going to leave here between 6:30 and 7:00, because first he has to get gas at the Old Timer and then planning to take the back roads instead of having to fight San Antonio's hectic I-10 traffic.

We are totally thrilled about Ginger getting adopted and knowing that she is going to live with Garnet & Sandy's cousin is just one more thing to make today a great Christmas for us.

So I am now fixin' to go prepare Ginger's adoption papers, so everything will be ready to go for Tony and Ginger, in the morning. Then Rick, Tony and I are going to watch a movie, before we call it a night and go to bed early, because tomorrow morning we are all going to get up bright and early, so Tony and Ginger can take off, then Rick can take off and I can stay home to do the morning chores outside.

So Merry Christmas sweet Ginger and have a Happy New Year & New Life! And Merry Christmas to all of y'all! Life is good.

Y'all have a great evening!

UGGS!

The last few days have been great. We've been getting ready for Christmas and there has been so much going on out here, but tonight, because our dear friend, Rick, arrived this afternoon, I am going to keep it short and just show you what arrived today and made my day great. Here is a picture of Little Debbie's wannabe UGGS, in front of my pink UGGs.

Y'all have a great evening!

Grandma!

Today has been great. We spent most of our day working outside and we accomplished a lot. Just a few minutes ago, I looked over at the two precious puppies sleeping, in the puppy pen which is set up right next to me, at the kitchen table, so I grabbed my camera and took these pictures of Big Foot with his arm around Grandma. Yes, I have decided to rename Sasquatch. And her new name is Grandma!

Yesterday when Kinky and I were taking a hike with The Friedmans I told him about the pups and he was thrilled that I got another Great Pyrenees, because he loved Mama, too. So tomorrow morning I am going to take Grandma over to the Lodge, so Kinky and The Friedmans can meet her, too.

Y'all have a great evening!

Is It Big Foot or Sasquatch?!

Yesterday our good friend, Debbie, the owner of the Old Timer, in Medina, called me around noon to tell me that her friend Mary had just rescued two Pyr pups, about 4-5 weeks old, and she wanted to know if we could help. "Nancy, I know that you have been praying for a Great Pyrenees to show up so you could rescue it ever since Mama died over a year ago. I definitely want one of them...."

An hour later, Tony and I were, in Debbie's back office, at the Old Timer, holding two precious, white, chunky pups, in our arms.

Within minutes, after Debbie and I talked about the puppies, I adopted the female pup and Debbie adopted her twin brother. And because Debbie is going to be so busy during the holidays we promised to take care of her male puppy for her, for the next couple of weeks.

So the reason why I didn't write anything yesterday was because Christmas came early for me, because I was too busy playing with these two adorable pups. Here is Roy and Big Al(ice) checking out the pups before we took the puppies outside to play.

These two pups are very hard for us to tell apart, because they look exactly alike, so we have to pick them up and check to know who is who. This afternoon after we had a fun lunch with our dear friends/volunteers, at the Koyote Grill, Tony and I took the twins to Hoegemeyer Animal Clinic, to get them a check up.

The puppies rode in the big box that Debbie had given to us yesterday. They were quiet and slept the entire time and thank goodness they didn't get carsick. When Tone and I walked inside the clinic Susan greeted us and then the pups stole every one's hearts, that were in the lobby. "What are their names?" Susan asked.

"One is Big Foot and the other is Sasquatch," I stated.

Then Susan came out to take the young, gentle giants from us. When I started to hand my pup over to her, she asked, "Is it Big Foot or Sasquatch?"

"I don't know," I said. "I forgot to look when Tony handed it to me."

Then Tony took a quick look at the puppy he was holding, and said, "Nancy's is Big Foot. I've got Sasquatch."

Tony and I had a fun visit with Dr. Janssen as he and his sweet assistant weighed the pups and then took their temperatures and stool samples. The pups each weighed 5.5 pounds and yes they had worms. And after Dr. Janssen de-wormed them and given them a clean bill of health, he told us to please bring them back in two weeks to get their first puppy shots.

And that is about it for tonight, because I am going to go put a pink collar on "Sassy" and then play with these two adorable twins that I truly believe were heaven sent from Mama and my parents.

Y'all have a great evening!

P.S. My dear friend Mari sent me this super cool, feel-good wedding video. The groom and groomsmen lip sync My Girl to the new bride. Just click here and scroll down the page to view it. The puppies and this fun to watch wedding video have made my day great. "Thanks Mari!"

This Is Big!

Today has been great and so was Monday. Yesterday afternoon, while I was waiting to check out our groceries, at the big H-E-B, I glanced over at the magazine rack and the cover of the Newsweek magazine caught my attention big time and it was a special edition.

It sort of freaked me out, because I was wearing one of my favorite hoodies that has a Big Foot on the front of it, that my dear friend, Cindy Pickard, gave to both Chet and me when we visited her & Jody, in Northern New Mexico, this past June.

Cindy's good friend, Jonathan Warm Day Coming, a very famous Native American, Taos Pueblo artist designed the beautiful sweatshirt for her along with six others, that represent the Seven Sacred teachings of the Anishnabe People. And we got to meet him and he looks just like Henry, who Lou Diamond Phillips plays, in Longmire.

Big Foot represents Honesty. And hear are pictures of the front and the back of my sweatshirt that I was wearing.

Cindy sells these beautiful hoodies, handmade crosses by Jody Armijo, pillows, posters and much more, at her super cool, website store: Pooh And The Brown Piglet. And please note that her hoodies are not covered in Roy's, Belle's, Beau's, Little Debbie's and Big Al(ice)'s dog hair, like mine is, in the pictures above and all of the rest of my clothes that I wear.

Anyway, last night Cindy and I were talking on the phone and I told her about Big Foot being on the cover of a special edition Newsweek magazine and she told me that Big Foot is very popular, all around the world and I found that interesting, because I love Big Foot and seeing him is near the top on my bucket list.

"Jody can't make the Big Foot plaques fast enough, because people are always ordering them from us and Jonathan's and my Big Foot hoodies are the number one best sellers."

"Do you have a Big Foot plaque for sale?" I asked, because I already have one of Jody's beautiful "Bear is Courage" plaques that always gets compliments." Here is my Bear plaque that hangs on the wall, above the big chair, in our big room.

Cindy told me, "Yes, we have only a dozen left and he is working on more. There is a picture of one at the website store, but I will send you a picture of his Big Foot plaques. And ten minutes later, after Cindy and I adios-ed each other I checked my e-mail and here is her picture of Jody's awesome artwork.

I loved it so much and knew that I wanted one, so I went Online and bought one at Pooh And The Brown Piglet store, as a Christmas present to myself. Then I went down the hallway and told Tony, "Thank you for buying me one of Jody's Big Foot plaques." Tony looked at me like he was seeing Big Foot, because he didn't know what I was talking about. So, I explained it to him and then I showed him Cindy's  Big Foot picture.

And tomorrow when we go to Kerrville, I am going to buy Newsweek's Special Edition on Big Foot.

Y'all have a great evening!

Jimi's Got It So Right!

Today has been great. This morning Kinky called me and asked me to come over, so he could sing his two new songs. He wrote the pajama song and he and our dear friend Bob, from Louisiana, who years ago adopted, Mama, our sweet, three-legged Pit Bull, co-wrote. (Bob has been at the ranch, for over a week, baby sitting The Friedmans while Kinky was on the road and he left earlier this morning.)

I told Kink that I would love to hear them and that I would be over there in just a few minutes and then I told him, "I made homemade, blueberry waffles this morning. You want me to bring one over, with some bacon?"

Twenty minutes later after Kinky ate the breakfast that I brought him we went into his office, so he could sing me his two new songs. He sang the pajama song first, which was totally awesome and it gave me goose bumps. Then our good friend Steve showed up.

After howdies and hugs we realized that Louie was missing. Louie Friedman is his adorable, black, long-haired Scottie mix, that I rescued a few years ago. To make a long story short, I was in Trigger, going over to Kinky's, when at our gate entrance I saw Louie, in the corner of my eye, that someone had just dumped. I got out of the truck and called him to me and he ran to me.

By the time we got over to the Lodge, I told Kinky about just rescuing Walter Matthau. "I think I am going to adopt him," I remarked, to deaf ears.

"No, I want to adopt him," Kinky stated, matter of factly. "And I am going to name him Louie Friedman..." So, I am officially Louie Walter Friedman's God mother.

Anyway, Kinky and Steve grabbed a bag of apples and carrots and took off to hopefully go find Louie and to also feed the apples and carrots to Maya, Roy, Gabby and Little Jewford. I opted to stay put, in case Louie showed up. "I'll honk if Louie shows up here," I said, as they and three of the Friedmans drove off, inside Mr. Green Jeans.

A few minutes later, Tony drove up in Kermit, followed closely by Mr. Green Jeans. "We've got Louie," Kinky said.

Two minutes later, Steve, Tony and I were in Kinky's office listening to Kinky sing his two new songs for us. And to say the least—we loved them. Then we had a short, fun visit with Kinky and Steve. Before we adios-ed them I told them my newest favorite quote by the late, great Jimi Hendrix, "When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace." And they loved it as much as I do. In fact, Kinky even repeated it after me, and said, "That's one great quote."

When we got back home Tony went outside and then came back inside. "Nance, yesterday this came in the mail for you, but I forgot to give it to you. Sorry about that. I think it is from Cindy Pickard."

"I bet it is. Cindy told me the other day that she was sending me a small gift, in the mail. Will you please open it for me, so I can fill up the dog's water bowl?" This is what my dear friend, Cindy, sent to me. I absolutely love it and I don't consider it a small gift!

"Oh my goodness! I love it! Last week I wrote Cindy an e-mail about discovering this awesome quote by Jimi Hendrix. I can't believe that she sent me this poster. I can't wait to get it framed and hang it on the wall, because Jimi's got it so right. All we need is love."

Y'all have a great day and evening!

UGGS!

The past few days have been great even though nothing much has happened out here. In other words it has been a quiet week.

Friday morning, our super good friends/volunteers came out and walked our dogs for us and then we went to lunch, at the Apple Store, in Medina, because everyone was craving catfish. During our fun lunch Eileen, Lisa and I talked about the plot of our upcoming Longmire video, that will hopefully get all of us an invite to be guests of the crew and cast, on the Longmire set, when they are filming an upcoming Longmire Season 5 episode.

When we were discussing my outfit that I will be wearing (All pink, of course, except for my shiny, Alien-attracting helmet that does have pink ribbons.) I told them that I was planning on wearing my pink pajamas, pink robe and pink UGGS. Then I said, "I am going to dress Little Debbie exactly like me, except for the UGGS, because I doubt if they make UGGS for dogs.

"I bet I can find her some UGGS to wear," Eileen said. Then she picked up her phone and within seconds she had found several adorable pink boots that could pass as Chihuahua UGGS. And to say the least I was more than thrilled about it.

Also while we were talking about our wardrobes, Eileen or maybe it was Lisa suggested that I wear two braids, put wire into them and make them stand up, like Pippi Longstocking wore. And that got a big laugh even before I agreed to do it.

When I got back home, after our super fun lunch, I went Online and ordered some cute, pink, wannabe UGGS for Little Debbie to wear, for her upcoming starring role.

Friday evening, Kinky and I went on a fun hike with The Friedmans and when we got back to the Lodge, he told me that his kitchen sink was stopped up, so I offered to help him unstop it. It was pretty funny too, because while Kinky used the plunger, I stood next to him, holding a wash rag down, over the other sink's stopper, to help keep it from coming out, so the plunger would have as much pressure as possible on the pipes.

After about ten minutes of us taking turns with the plunger or holding down the sink stopper, Kinky gave up and declared that it was time to call in a plumber. I didn't want to give up, so I suggested that I go home, grab a bottle of vinegar and a box of baking soda and we give that a try.

Five minutes later, after pouring a full gallon of white vinegar, mixed with some baking soda, into the stopped up sinks, we stood back and watched the chemical reaction. And sadly, that was the only reaction we got from my efforts, because it did not unstop Kinky's sink. So we finally gave up and threw in the towel, so to speak.

Early this morning Kinky called me and he left this message on Carlton, "Nance, the plumber just left and he removed the clog. Call me." Click.

And this is about all there is to write about, except I want to show you this picture I took, this afternoon, that shows the kind of uneventful week it has been.

Y'all have a great evening!

Pottersville!

The last few days have been great. The other evening Chet, Tony and I were talking about the classic movie, It's A Wonderful Life and just how much we loved it. Then we started talking about our favorite scenes in the movie, Jimmy Stewart, Donna Reed, Clarence, the second class angel that was trying to earn his wings and ZuZu. And not to forget the run-on-the-bank! So we decided to watch it.

I have a copy of the movie, because I always watch it at least once a year, but I could not find it anywhere. In hopes of quickly solving the missing movie problem, I went to #$%^& so we could stream it, but it was only available buy purchasing it.

Then I went to (*()*&^  our other streaming service and found out that, It's A Wonderful Life, was unavailable to stream and it was also unavailable on DVD. Huh?

So yesterday afternoon, while we were in Kerrville, we swung by Hastings, so we could buy the movie, It's A Wonderful Life. The 60th Anniversary Edition.

Last night, we sat down and watched this great movie and we totally enjoyed it all over again. It was the very first time for Little Debbie and Big Al(ice) to watch the movie, but unfortunately, they ended up falling asleep, in my lap, before George Bailey slid into the icy creek and then saved by his brother Harry.

Anyway, after Clarence had earned his wings and the movie had ended, I suggested that we watch the bonus features: "A Personal Remberance" a special tribute to Frank Capra, narrated by his son, Frank Capra, Jr. It was so great we decided to watch "The Making of "It's A Wonderful Life, that included a fabulous interview with Jimmy Stewart, etc.

We even found out something that we didn't know about this famous movie. In 1970, this classic movie had somehow slipped between the cracks and by accident, the studio had neglected to renew its copywrite—making it Public Domain. Which I think means it is free for anyone to distribute, because there are no royalties to be paid.

So, my question tonight is: How come this ageless movie that improves with age, "Voted the #1 Most inspiring Film of All Time, by AFI's 100 Years..."(Quoted from the back jacket.) isn't available for streaming by "The Big Boys"?

It just doesn't make any sense to me. So as I finish writing this tonight, I will finally step down from my soapbox. Then because I need to laugh, I am going to sit down and watch another one of my favorite classic movies, It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, because I own my own copy of it and I love Jonathan Winters so much.

And also because it is also not available for streaming by The Big Guys. "Come on Little Debbie, Al(ice), Belle, Beau and Roy. We've got a funny movie to watch and this time please don't fall asleep."

Y'all have a great evening!

Backup!

Today has been great. This morning our great friends/volunteers came out to walk our dogs for us. And so did Phyllis, our newest volunteer. And Jim M. kindly "showed her the ropes" on how we do things out here. "Thank you, Jim!"

After the dogs went on their fun walks and before we went up to the Medina Highpoint Resort's Koyote Grill to eat lunch together, we showed off our awesome keyhole garden. And to say the least, "they loved it and some of them even took pictures of it."

As always our lunch was fun and the food, at the Medina Highpoint Resort's Koyote Grill, was absolutely delicious. Everyone loves to eat there, because their menu has so many food choices to choose from, instead of just plain old burgers and hot dogs.

After our super fun lunch with the best volunteers in Texas, Tony and I came back home and I discovered that Chet had left his silver, spray paint bottle, on the kitchen table, so I could use it to  spray paint Little Debbie's tiny, Alien-attracting helmet silver, like mine.

Her helmet was so easy to spray paint. It only took me a couple of seconds to paint the inside and the outside and the paint dried quickly. So before returning Chet's spray paint to him I decided to make Little Debbie a backup, Alien-attracting helmet. Just in case something should happen to her official helmet, that has the pretty, pink ribbons tied to it, so it will stay put, between her ears, when we film our Texas-style, Longmire skit. And this is a picture I took of Little Debbie wearing her official, silver Alien-attracting helmet.

Following the three-seconds photo shoot, I took this picture of our Alien-attracting helmets, along with Little Debbie's backup helmet.

And that's about it for tonight, because I am going to go play my guitar for awhile.

Y'all have a great evening!

Big G!

Today has been great. This afternoon Tony and I went to Kerrville to meet Big G for lunch. We ate at the Thai O'Cha, our favorite Thai restaurant.

Of course, Tony and I ordered the exact same thing—their delicious #4 and Big G ate something that had peanuts in it. It looked tasty and he told us that it was totally delicious. We had a blast eating lunch with Big G (Gordon Ames). And we are looking forward to doing it again real soon.

A nice woman called me yesterday about five, mixed Jack Russell pups that need homes. She told me that they are 5 months old, spayed or neutered, all shots, micro-chipped and they weigh between eight to twelve pounds. She has three males and two females.

Lola sent me pictures of these pups, so I could post them and try to help her find homes for them. If you or anyone you know is wanting a sweet pup, please call me at the rescue ranch, so I put you in contact with her. Here are Lola's five pictures of the puppies.
