Tony and I met Thomas, nine or ten years ago, when he adopted a dog from us, but we never really knew him, so we just nodded our heads at him, and he nodded back. I can't believe that we have seen two celebrities in the past two days!
After lunch, we swung by H.E.B., grabbed a few groceries, and then we stopped by Wolfmueller's Books, so I could buy a copy of my book, that Tony wanted me to sign, so he could give it as a present, to one of his friends. We had a nice visit with Jon and Mary Jo. Then we came home.
Around four fifteen, I went over to the Lodge to visit with Kinky. We talked about Susan Boyle's incredibly great CD, and I showed him her performance on England's Got Talent, and he loved it, and I teared up! Then we talked about how nice his friend, Billy Bob Thornton, is!
Y'all have a great evening!

Introduce Billy Bob to R and D
Hi Nancy... you had me in such suspense and then I was so thrilled when I heard it was BBT! I met him in Toronto last April when he was playing on the bill with his band "The Boxmasters" (you HAVE to get all the Boxmaster CDs!) and Willie Nelson with special guest Ray Price. What a night!
Billy Bob is SO friendly and loves making music. So glad he's a friend of the Ranch, that ROCKS!
Hi Roger and Fay!
Roger, they were the first dogs that came into my mind, after he told me that he might come back and adopt a couple! And, if he does adopt from us, i will let everyone know!
Fay, that is so cool that you got to meet him in Toronto! I'll beright back!
Hi Fay, I'm sorry that I had to leave. As I was writing, Lisa , John, and Matt came up to the trailer, so I had to get off of the computer! I love Billy Bob Thornton, because he acts like a person, instead of a celebrity. I'm fixin' to go to iTunes right now and buy his music!
Thank y'all for the comments!
Nancy, you are so right about BBT being so down to earth, he is incredibly nice for sure, a real salt of the earth kind of guy for sure.
In all that excitement I forgot to tell you: Sideways is one of my favourite movies! I watch it all the time and esp. when I need a good belly laugh. That's so cool you saw Thomas Hayden Church in town ; ))
they look like cousins:)
