Nancy, I remember seeing him at Armadillo World Headquarters..must have been about 1972 or 1973. He played for a couple of hours, non-stop, and just kept jumping all around the stage, even onto the speakers! He was SO COOL!!
Wow Linda! That is way too cool! I loved Armadilo World Headquarters! I went there and drank a brew with Jim, just two days before they officially shut it down.
P.S. I went there many other times, and loved the music—those were the days!
Hey Gals, I totally agree, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band were awesomecool! The energy and sound was spectacular ; )) I saw Bruce S. perform in Buffalo at the old Auditorium in 1981. We all took a party bus down from Toronto, what a show he put on! It must have been 3 hours long, with the stage all up & behind so he could run 360° and see the whole audience. When we all left the venue it was really slippery from the condensation that formed in the old building, we were slip sliding out of there. Good times for sure!
Howdy Fay! 1981 was a great year, with some of the best music ever! That concert in Buffalo must have been totally awesome! Springsteen and the E Street Band are up high on my list of favorite music! Thank you for sharing!
