Happy New Year And Peace On Earth!

Our holiday season was filled with love, fun and having too much for me to do, because it is my busiest time of the year for me, at the rescue ranch. There are so many great things for me to blog about our wonderful holiday season I don't know where to start.

I do apologize for not blogging much this past month and not keeping y'all up to date on things going on, at our rescue ranch, but I was too tired with all of the activities. So, I am going to skip it and just start with a clean slate for 2017. But, I am proud to report that Kinky and I are still walking daily, since I blogged about us vowing to do it.

Today has been great. This morning both Tony and I overslept, but that was actually good, because we both needed to recharge ourselves and it has worked.

I've spent most of the morning, thinking hard about my New Year's resolutions and I am still pretty much undecided, because they require a lot of will-power which right now is at an all-time low. So I plan to wait a few more days when things settle down here, at the rescue ranch.

It is now 1:30, in the afternoon and I am still in my pajamas and walking around in my converted, leather moccasins, that Aaron so kindly made for me, several weeks ago. And I will not go outside, because I have a bad case of cedar-fever, again.

I fear that my nose might fall off, because I've been sneezing non-stop. It seems  that if I'm not sneezing, I am coughing non-stop, because I've just packed my nose with more Vick's Vapor Rub, again. It's a no-win situation for people living, in the beautiful Texas Hill Country and we just have to deal with it.

Anyway, Tony and I are watching the Dallas Cowboys and Eagles game and the score right now is: Dallas 10 —Eagles 10 and y'all can guess which team we are pulling for.

It's 2:00 right now and the score is Dallas 13 — Eagles 10, so I've just decided to take a 45 minute break, from the football game and get in a little exercise. So, I'm fix'in to go walk 4 Fast Miles with Leslie Samson, so I can help get rid of some more of the remaining, dried-on glue, that remains on the bottom soles of my leather moccasins and also because I seriously need the exercise.

So, as I finish writing this I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and Peace On Earth.

Y'all take care and keep on laughing— even though the Eagles just scored another touchdown!

Please don't let all that resolving interfere with the experimental cooking, local restaurant exploration, potholder ponzi scheming, and netflix criticism. :-)
