Another Oh Hail Update!

Another Oh Hail! Update: 5:22 PM

Live From Big Foot Ranch

Hopefully, this will be the last Oh Hail! Update. Since my last report, while Tony was taking a nap, I went outside to take a few more photos.

The first thing I did was to check on ET. When I turned the little dome right side up ET was gone. So I looked all over the front yard in hopes of finding him, but to no avail.

Right after I had called off the ET search I looked up at our pan-hanging contraption that we converted into a flower basket, where ET had been hanging for all of these years, and there he was—hanging by a wet, weathered, red ribbon! And I was so thrilled.

So I tucked him into my sweatshirt pocket, knowing that I would have to wash away the mud. Then I decided to walk down to the gate to check out our driveway to see if the creek was still flowing over it.

It was, so I decided to take this short, 15-second video of it, so you could hear the rushing water and see it for yourself.

Then I went to check on Tony's garden. I took a picture of his key hole tomato garden, but it is so depressing I've chosen not to post it. Seriously, it would be a small miracle if his tomato plants survived the hail storm.

I then walked over to the Mothership to check for any damage, but luckily it only got covered in a bunch of leaves. So I was happy again.

Then I went inside it to check for any leaks and it was as dry as a bone—thank goodness. And before I locked it back up I made a promise to myself that I would finish working on the inside, so our friends can stay in it or my writing cabin when they come to visit us.

And that is the rest of the story.
