This morning the phone rang at 7:22—it was Rick Reichenbach, our good friend and "The Friendly Lighthouse Keeper" from Port Aransas. "Good morning, Cousin Nancy. I'm going to leave this morning in a few hours and I should be arriving at the ranch late this afternoon..." To say the least, I was thrilled and could not wait to tell Tony the good news, when he got back from drinking coffee at the Old Timer in Medina.
When Rick arrived, other than being a little road weary and sun burned, he successfully completed his "maiden voyage" to our rescue ranch. This is a short 20 second video that I took of Rick showing off his Triumph to Frank Mason and Tony.
Lisa, definitely his better half, is driving up tomorrow and we can't wait to see her. I am so glad that Mercury is out of retrograde—things are already getting by the minute.
