Doing Its Thing!

Well, I'm keeping my promise about showing you our new/improved coffee table. In the beginning, my homemade coffee table looked like this after we removed it, from Outer Space and took it over to The Cabin. And this picture was taken, on October 22nd, before I decorated the big room's almost bare walls.

Here are three pictures, at different angles, that I took this afternoon, of our new/improved coffee table. And please note that the big room's walls are decorated.

And before I go binge-watch all of Season 4 of The Ranch, on Netflix, with Little Debbie, Big Al(ice), Roy, Belle, Beau and Henry Standing Bear, I want to show you this picture that I took, this afternoon, of our wood burning stove doing its thing.

Y'all have a great evening and keep on laughing!

Hi, Nancy - very cute and different coffee table. I would like to know whether it also has storage under the top? Just curious - I love how sturdy it looks!

Hi Mari and Fay! I am so glad that y'all like the coffee table. Mari, it does not have a closed-in bottom, so yes we can store stuff under it as long as three strong men can pick it up for us.

Fay, we've been working around the clock, but today due to fog/rain and tomorrow's rainy forecast we are taking a few days off to rest. Roscoe is down here visiting Kinky and asked me to tell you and Ian howdy.

So Nancy, the lid to the table is nailed/screwed down tight? No hinges and not removable?

It reminds me of some of those that are repurposed on Flea Market Flip and the 'flippers' try to make them both a coffee table and storage box?

But however you use it, I think it's VERY special and can't wait to see it when I visit out there again!

Nancy are you folks ok? You have been really quiet and getting worried. I am assuming that you are probably getting burned out on the blog, understandably,I would too after a while. Just miss reading your blog entries and hope everyone is doing well. Happy Holidays from Susie G in Fort Worth

Hi Cousin Suzie! We're fine and have just been too busy working. When we get home all I want to do is relax and watch a movie. Thank you for your concern and for reading my not so everyday blog. Happy New Year to you and all of our cousins!
